“We are thrilled to have Alex join our team,” said Joseph Clayton, President and CEO of IFIC and the IFIC Foundation. “Her experience at the intersection of research, communications, nutrition and health will help us advance our consumer insight and science communications mission.”
“Understanding the consumer is essential to effective education, outreach and engagement, especially on issues like nutrition, food safety and sustainability,” Lewin-Zwerdling said. “For over thirty years, IFIC has worked to understand consumer attitudes and behaviors around food and to elevate the science behind our food system. I’m looking forward to helping IFIC grow as the go-to resource for media, industry and stakeholders who seek consumer insights related to food, health and nutrition.”
IFIC also announced that registered dietitians Kris Sollid and Sarah Romotsky have each been promoted to Senior Director and will co-lead IFIC’s nutrition programs, including IFIC’s partnerships with professional health organizations.
